Ryan Guzzo Purcell, Program Director and Performance Coach, helps leaders develop authentic communication, bringing out the power and clarity they need so their ideas and leadership cut through the noise. His work with Stand & Deliver has taken him from Amsterdam to Singapore, working with companies including Randstad, Deloitte, EY, Cisco, and Swiss RE.
Ryan brings to the Stand & Deliver team 15 years as a director and theater maker. He is the founding artistic director of The Williams Project, a theater company dedicated to creating epic, compassionate, expertly crafted theatre while paying all artists a living wage. His directorial credits include Magic Theatre (where he was associate artistic director), Intiman Theatre, A.C.T. San Francisco, LaMaMa ETC and Trinity Repertory Company. Ryan is a Fulbright Scholar, Princess Grace Foundation honoree, and a Drama League Directing Fellow.
Ryan’s teaching credits include Stanford University, Brown University, the A.C.T. M.F.A. program, and San Francisco Juvenile Detention. He received his M.F.A. from Brown and his B.F.A. from Boston University.
